Firstly, thank you for showing an interest in Celebration of Being (“COB”). We are committed to protecting and preserving the privacy of the community, visitors to our website and/or when communicating with you.

COB recognises the importance of protecting your privacy, in line with legal responsibilities. This notice is to advise you how we use any personal information you share with us. Information you share with us enables us to respond to your request and improve our services. By providing us with your information you consent to us processing it for this purpose. We will not pass it on to any third party. By visiting our website, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

 

Personal information we collect
We collect your personal information in the following ways:
1.    when you enter your details on one of the forms on our website, or
2.    when you contact us, usually via email or telephone, or
3.    when you participate in one of our workshops or courses.

We will use your personal information to respond to your request. 

 

How we keep your personal information secure
COB is committed to keeping your personal information secure. When you complete our “Subscribe for updates” form the personal information collected, is stored on Mailchimp. This is a secure platform which protects your information from being accessed or used inappropriately. 
If you email us directly or via the “Book now or send enquiry” form your name and email will be kept on our secure Gmail platform. 
When you participate in a workshop or course we keep your name, address, telephone contact, email and any special dietary requirements. We hold only this personal information on one, password protected, hard drive with a back up hard drive. All other personal information provided is deleted after completion of the workshop. Your name and email will also be kept on our secure Gmail platform.  

Updating your preferences
If you do not wish to receive information by email from COB, please use the unsubscribe feature which is on all Mailchimp emails. You can also request this by sending us an email with “unsubscribe” in the subject matter.  
You can also asked to be removed from the workshop database by sending us an email. In this case, we will only retain your personal information, where our legal or regulatory obligations require us to do so.

 

What happens to your personal information and third parties
Your personal information is only used by COB. We will send our quarterly newsletter, details of workshops and courses run by COB or involving the Directors and the Founding organisation COR Inc. We may occasionally send details of courses offered by other organisations that offer complimentary transformational growth work.
We do not sell or share your personal information with any third party, for any reason whatsoever. We do not use automated call services.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of information in the form of a very small text file that is placed on an internet user’s computing device, in order to make the user’s interaction with the Website easier, faster and more convenient. We may use cookies so that you remain logged in whilst you browse and there are cookies associated with the video and audio files that you access. We may also use other cookies solely for the purpose of enabling you access, use and to personalise the Website for you
